FENSTER61 is having a break. No planning in the summer => no exhibitions in the autumn. As simple as that. FENSTER61 will be back with monthly changing photo exhibitions in January 2012. Expected to be among the next photographers are Wenke Seemann, Thorsten Strasas and Torsten Schumann. Submissions are always welcome as long as they fit to the concept.

Very Berlin, very factual, very architecture – there are two exhibitions by Jörg Schmiedekind in Berlin at the time. One at galerie en passant, the other one a view blocks further at FENSTER61.

Joab Nist is running a blog called Notes Of Berlin. Everybody can submit pictures of curious notes found in Berlin – slips of paper sticked on lamp poles, in entrance halls, public bill-boards etc. The project was started about ten month ago and became quites famous. Currenty there’s a selection of the Notes Of Berlin on exhibit at FENSTER61. It’s the only exhibition at FENSTER61 that is more about reading than about watching photographs I guess.
