DRIFTWOOD 2 | AMERIKA

Yesterday’s test print looks awesome! Lesson learned: 60 pages on 100g paper are probably the maximum that goes with staple binding. But, ey! It’s a zine, not arty farty. The edition is supposed to be printed this week and will then go out to all subscribers.

I want my Driftwood, too!

Hamburg was nice

Ken Schles

Hamburg/Deichtorhallen Portfolio Walk was not crowded, but nice! Many thanks to everyone who stopped by. Especially to Ken Schles and Wolfgang Zurborn for taking their time + giving me honest, inspiring and encouraging feedback on my work.

I’m invited to show my work at „Portfolio Walk“ at Deichtorhallen, Hamburg. That means: a table, my books on it, me behind it. Many more tables and photographers will be around + lectures the whole weekend long:

Stop by, if you are around.
It is free and open for everyone!
And yes, I will have a brandnew book dummy with me, that nobody has seen before.

DRIFTWOOD 1 | Berlin

I have received a lot of positive feedback about the first issue of Driftwood and the publishing idea behind it. I’d like to point out this personal review by Eric Paslitzky:

DRIFTWOOD 1
is here + all orders are on the way

Ladies and gentlemen,

DRIFTWOOD 1 came ready from the printing house this Tuesday and is already on the snailmail way to all who have ordered it. Thank you very much for the great response so far. That is a great motivation for the next issues! Please feel free to send my any feedback about it. See DRIFTWOOD 1 here.

THE WHISPERING NOISE

THE WHISPERING NOISE is a photofilm that contains pictures from DRIFTWOOD 1, ALLE KATZEN GRAU and others.
The soundtrack is exclusively composed by Andreas Albrecht.

Working with Andreas is always inspiring and I am very happy with the result. We try to bring this to some screening festivals and cinema events. We will tell you when it’s about time. Until then:
Lights OUT, Fullscreen mode ON, Speakers LOUD.

Thank you for your interest + see you soon
