From September 24 to November 27, 2026, the group exhibition “BERLIN (Photographs 1979–2025)” at the Das Foto Image Factory presents a focused visual distillate of urban documentary photography.
Curated by Berlin-based photographer Christian Reister, the exhibition brings together four distinct artistic positions along 20 running meters of wall space. Alongside Reister’s own high-contrast night photography, the exhibition features works by his influences and companions: Miron Zownir, Andreas Rost, and Holger Biermann. Rather than presenting an academic chronicle, the show unfolds as a subjective generational dialogue spanning from West Berlin in the late 1970s through the post-reunification era and into the present day. The result is an unvarnished portrait of a city that is constantly rewriting itself.
